We are also extremely active in dispute financing through our joint venture with Burford Capital, and through our role as the General Partner in the Glenavy Arbitration Investment Fund LP, a pioneering private investment fund in the dispute finance field.
Our notable activities have included:
- Sponsoring the creation of an Israeli technology business and working actively on its roll-up of the US consumer-generated online content business that culminated in the sale of BuzzMetrics to The Neilsen Company as the foundation of Nielsen's online strategy;
- Assisting in the organization of, and participating in, the first private investment fund in Afghanistan;
- Structuring a portfolio of Russian, Kazak and Bulgarian technology and energy investments in a non-recourse, tax-efficient structure;
- Working with world-renown cardiologists to develop and deploy a market-leading expert software system to accompany the deployment of electronic health record systems in the United States;
- Financing Israeli-developed medical technology for trial and deployment worldwide;
- Financing an industry-leading commodity trader with particular expertise in biofuel inputs; and,
- Sponsoring the creation of a leading Scandanavian corporate VoIP provider.
